On October 21, 2026, members of the amshot team served lunch at the Homeless Alliance, supporting an organization working in the Oklahoma City community.
For amshot, the afternoon was about something straightforward: showing up where people can be useful.
Why serving lunch matters
A meal meets an immediate need, but hospitality can provide something more. Sharing time and serving others are practical ways to demonstrate compassion, dignity, and support for people navigating difficult circumstances.
The experience also reflects a value amshot emphasizes internally: empowering the community. That value is established in amshot’s broader culture messaging.
Morgan Morrow, Hunter McKinney, Taylor Unruh, and Ayana Fuller represented the amshot team during the event.
The idea of being a “No-Ego Doer” fits the occasion well: when there is useful work to be done, contribute.
Supporting our Oklahoma City community
Community involvement does not need to be complicated to be meaningful. Sometimes it means giving time, doing the work in front of you, and supporting organizations already making a difference.
amshot appreciates the Homeless Alliance for the opportunity to serve and, more importantly, for the work its organization does in the community.
