We’re always looking to sharpen our business skills and keep up with the ever-changing tech industry, and we know our neighbors are too—that’s why we host monthly training classes open to clients and non-clients alike. The topics vary from iOS Tips and Tricks and Gone Phishing to Advanced Excel Formulas and everything in between.
Be Honest. Listen first, then listen some more. Simplify. Be a no-ego doer. Empower your community. Be persistent. Adapt, fail fast. Live passionately. Create. amshot provides technology services to clients with demanding lives.
As a local business, investing in our neighborhood is a priority—whether that’s providing training classes, supporting local businesses, participating in clubs and organizations, or giving back to causes here in our backyard.
The amshot team keeps up with the going-ons of Oklahoma City. We consider ourselves foodies, so you can often find us trying out the newest restaurants in town. Our team members carry Keep It Local Cards to help discover the trendiest hangouts around the metro and incentivize supporting Oklahoma’s independent businesses, and we strive to source business services locally.
amshot is proud to be affiliated with the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce. As an Advisor-level member, our team members regularly attend Chamber events to stay up-to-date on OKC’s latest projects, meet other members, and learn about new opportunities to get involved in our city. amshot’s CEO Michael Thomas is also a member of the Board of Advisors to give a voice to local IT companies and promote their welfare in OKC.
amshot’s social causes include STEAM education, art and music, ending disease, youth sports, and gender equality. We hope to further these causes in Oklahoma, helping shape it into a leader among states, a better place to live, and generally promote a better society for future generations. amshot sponsors the OKC Midtown Rotary Spelling Beer, the FLY Film Festival, The Cage OKC, the Oklahoma Women in Technology (OKWIT) Spring and Fall Retreats, the Metro Tech Mechanical Monsters robotics team, the Oklahoma Power BI User Group (PUG), Preservation Oklahoma, the O City Golf Association Tournament, the Alzheimer’s Association Oklahoma Chapter, the Oklahoma Artists Invitational, Under Her Wing was the Universe, and the Oklahoma Visual Arts Coalition (OVAC), each of which supports one of our primary social causes. Learn more about our involvement with these organizations on our Made Possible By page.
