Hey, Buddy is a names-and-faces memory app: add people with a photo, name, and
tags, then quiz yourself until the names stick.

Common questions

My contacts aren’t showing up on my other device

Hey, Buddy syncs through your own private iCloud account, not a company
server. Make sure the same Apple ID is signed into iCloud on both devices, that
iCloud is enabled for the app (Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud), and that
both devices have a network connection. Sync can take a few minutes. In the
app’s Stats screen, “Force Re-sync to iCloud” will re-queue everything on that
device to upload again.

How do I delete someone from my roster?

Swipe on their entry in the list, or open their profile and tap Delete.

How do I stop event reminders?

Open the tag’s settings and turn off the reminder toggle, or delete the tag —
its reminder is cancelled automatically.

Is my data private?

Yes. Hey, Buddy has no backend, no accounts, and no ads. Everything stays on
your device and syncs only through your own private iCloud container. See our
