Expired Introduction to SQL Queries- 8/18 and 8/25

This class lasts for two days and will be held from 2:30 pm to 4 pm on both 8/18 and 8/25.

In this class we will discuss how to create queries against a SQL database and what each of the parts of a SQL statement accomplish. The class will include the following subjects:

 

  • Installing SQL Server Management Studio
  • Connecting to a database
  • Creating a new Query
  • SELECT
  • FROM
  • WHERE
  • ORDER BY
  • TOP X
  • JOIN
  • LEFT/RIGHT JOIN
  • GROUP BY
  • SUM, MAX, MIN
